The judges have finished their judging for the Spring Theme Player Card Contest, and once again, you made it a very hard job for us! We really enjoyed looking at all of the cute, creative, and interesting designs submitted. So, in addition to choosing one Grand Prize Winner, we also chose five Honorable Mentions!

Zing is back! Visit him at his gold and blue tent in Tree House Lobby to say "Hi!", then set out on your search for his Golden Tickets. Zing has scattered Golden Tickets all over Pandanda, except in tree houses.

Once you have 10 tickets, you can visit Zing again to exchange them for one of his prizes. Remember, you can only choose one Zing prize each week, so make sure to choose carefully! Not sure how many tickets you have collected? Just click on the Golden Ticket icon near the top right of your screen to find out.

There are just two days left to get your Spring Theme Player Card Contest entries in! The judges are really enjoying looking at all of your submissions!

LOL, well, of course, we all know which of our Pandanda citizens that Golden Ticket belongs to - the amazing Zing Ballyhoo! Zing will be setting up his gold and blue tent in Pandanda for a short visit starting Monday, March 12th. He will scatter Golden Tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and trade to him for his always unique prizes!

Zing's gold top hat is one of his most unmistakable features. To help us get into the spirit for Zing's return, let's have a cool Hat Day this Friday! Start looking through your closet to find your favorite hat. Can't pick just one favorite? That's ok! Wear them all (one at a time, of course!)

Spring theme player card drawing contest!

Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest!

Happy March, Panda Pals!

Let's get this month off to a great start with the first contest of 2012 - a Spring Theme Player Card Drawing Contest!

This goal of this contest is to design and submit a drawing of a player card background using thetemplate of a player card provided. We recommend you use this template, since it shows the placement of where the Panda image appears on top of the Player Card and how it will cover the design.

The theme of your background should be Springtime. If you like, you can suggest a simple animation for your background (for example, the falling snow on the village scene in last year's Winter Festival background.)

For hand-drawn entries, we suggest that you first print a copy of thetemplate, and then create your drawing on that. Hand-drawn images will need to be scanned into your computer or turned into a digital picture using a digital camera so they can be emailed to us. If you use a camera to take a picture of your drawing, make sure it is well-lit and in focus. We want to be able to see your drawing at its best!

All entries must be emailed to us in the format of a digital image (in one of the following formats: jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, pdf, png). Entries that are not in one of those formats will be disqualified.

There is a limit of one entry per email address (the one you used when you created your panda) per day. Entries must be received atcontest@pandanda.com no later than 11:59pm PST on Wednesday, March 14, 2012. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 21st in my Blog.

Prizes:

One Grand Prize will be awarded by our panel of judges.

The Grand Prize winner will have their design turned into an actual player card background by our graphic artists to be used in the game, and will also receive:

• a 6-month Elite Membership Gift Certificate
• 5000 Panda Power
• 200 Panda Gold

The really cool part is that the winning design will feature the winning Panda's name on the card - which could even make your Panda pretty famous - who knows? The winner's new Player Card Background will be available during the Easter Egg Hunt Festival that begins on March 30th.

To submit your entry (have your parent or guardian help you):

• Read and obey the rules. Entering the competition means that you and your parent/guardian agree to the rules. A complete list of the rules can be found here. If you are under 13 years old, please ask your parent or guardian to review them with you, along with our website Terms of Use, specifically with regard to the use of submissions you send to us.
• Ask your parent or guardian to email your entry to contest@pandanda.com from their email address, the one they used when they signed you up for Pandanda. Your entry MUST come from the email address that we have on file for your Pandanda account.You can see what that email address is by logging into your Account Management page.
• Type the words "Player Card Drawing Contest" in the subject line of the email.
• Type your Panda name in the text of the email for example "Panda Name: Paige."
• Do NOT include your real name, house address, phone number, or password.
• Email your entry for Pandanda to receive it no later thanWednesday, March 14th at 11:59pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST). You may only send in one entry per Pandanda account per day.

Lap Day!

Leap Day!

Hey Friends!

I hope you enjoyed the extra day of the Friendship Festival - a surprise from me to you! Maybe it gave you a little more time to get that prize you were still working on!

Tomorrow is February the 29th - Leap Day! About every four years, we have a Leap Year, which is a year with one extra day in it. That day is added to the shortest month, making February have 29 days instead of 28. Poor February- even with an extra day, it is still the shortest month!

I want to see some pictures of you and your friends Leaping for Leap Day in Pandanda! Snap a cool screenshot of leaping pandas and send it to me at screenshots@pandanda.com. Put Leap Day in the subject line, and make sure to include your panda name. I'll choose some to post in my Blog, and put them all in a photo album for everyone to see! Please, just send one or two of your best pictures, and make sure to mail them to me by 11:59pm Pandanda Time on Wednesday, February 29th.

Last Day of Friendship Festival!

Hello to all my Panda Friends!

I hope you have enjoyed the Friendship Festival this year. You still have until just before midnight Pandanda Time today to collect bracelets and trade them to Lucy at the Fishing Hole for her cool prizes! When Lucy leaves she will take her prizes with her, so don't wait!

According to your votes on the Favorite Friendship Fest Prize, the Animated Heart Sunglasses are your favorite prize, followed by the Red Heart Chair and the Purple Heart Chair.

Mod Jozie really loves her purple heart chair, animated heart sunglasses, and bouquet of flowers. Looks like her pet dragons kind of like them, too!

Hmmm, I like all of the purple hues in Jozie's tree house. I wonder if her favorite color is purple, too!

Free elite member day is this Saturday!!!!

It's almost here! Another fabulous, fantastic Free Elite Member Day (FEMD) will begin Saturday at 12:01am PST, and end at 11:59pm PST. Everyone who logs in during FEMD will have full access to all of Pandanda's Elite Membership features for the whole day!**

Shop for clothes at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street, decorate your treehouse with items from the House and Tree Catalog, then unlock your tree and invite your friends over for a fashion show! Adopt a dragon egg from Izzy at the Pet Shop on West Market Street, and patiently wait for it to magically hatch about six days later!
You can even buy a Horse Companion from Questy if your Quest Level is high enough. It will be so much fun!

The Level 50 and above Super Questers and I had a great time on Palm server at the first of today's Level 50+ Parties. We did a bit of Hide and Seek, chased bunnies, hunted ghosts, and did a lot of just hanging out together and chatting! Oh yeah, we also tried to see how many pandas we could stuff into the dressing rooms at Clothing Co.! Check it out:

Level+ 50 Parties Friday!

Level 50+ Parties Friday!

I had a great time partying last Friday with the pandas who had reached Level 75 in Quests. And now I am looking forward to celebrating with everyone who has reached Level 50 and above. The parties should be HUGE, because there are over 400 of you at Level 50 and over!

Just like last Friday, I will be hosting two parties, to allow pandas from all over the world to be there! The first party will be at 10am Pandanda Timeand the second party will be at 6pm Pandanda Time. You can click on each of those links to see what time the parties will be where you live. Pandas who live in Australia, New Zealand, and other countries in that part of the world will probably find that the 6pm party works best for them, since it will be on Saturday morning and early afternoon.

Both parties will be on Palm server, which will be Level Restricted to pandas at Level 50 and above. There should be plenty of room on Palm for everyone, but you will probably need to spread out among the rooms. Don't worry though, I will be making the rounds to visit everyone!

Then you can sell them to the vendors around Pandanda for coins. Why do you want coins? So you can shop til you drop during Free Elite Member Day this Saturday!

You can earn coins by fishing, then selling your fish to Fishy Joe. You can also earn coins for every game you play. So you've got plenty of chances to increase your Pandanda bank account before Saturday!

Everyone who logs in on Saturday will have full access to all of Pandanda's Elite Membership features for one day!** You can use your Pandanda coins to buy anything at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street! Happy Fat Tuesday , or Mardi Gras, everyone! Henry wants us to celebrate this day by wearing the Mardi Gras colors green, yellow, and purple, and lead some parades around Pandanda! I will be dressed as a joker on the sever maple if you want to drop by and say hi. I would also like to remind you that on Friday is the Level 50 party! There will be two parties. We had a great Game Day on Saturday. I really got a kick out of playing Bunny Chase and Ghosts of Misty Hill with so many of you during my visits. Check out these pictures of the fun!

Are you ready for more fun this week? First is Mardi Gras Color Day tomorrow. Dress in Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, yellow, and gold, and lead your friends in a Mardi Gras parade around Pandanda. Our Brazilian panda friends might know this day better as Carnaval. Whatever you call it, make Tuesday bright and exciting! Mod Jule is already dressed for Mardi Gras fun!

On Friday, the Super Questers who are at Level 50 and above will get their chance to party with me on Palm Server. Fantastic February!

Wow, have you checked out the Pandanda February Calendar? We've got lots of things planned to help make the shortest month of the year one of the most fun months of the year!

Right off the bat, there was an awesome update in the Clothing Catalog. Lots of cool Valentine's-themed clothes and accessories; a hockey uniform, hockey stick, and skates; new player card backgrounds, and more! And you can still buy football stuff for the Big Game on Sunday. Go Team!

Zing will be leaving this Sunday, so make sure you have collected 10 Golden Tickets and traded them to him for his 4th and final prize. Once he leaves, his prizes are gone forever!

We will celebrate the power of friendship during the Friendship Festival, which begins on February 10th. You'll have 18 days to collect friendship bracelets to trade for cool Friendship Fest prizes. And on Valentine's Day, the 14th, we will have a Red and Pink Color Day.

I've got some special parties planned for Super Questers this month! On the 17th, all pandas who have reached Level 75 will be able to party with me on Palm Server. Then on the 24th, everyone at Level 50 and above will get their chance to party! There will be two party times on each of those days, so pandas all over the world should have a chance to participate.

Game Day returns on the 18th, with double coins on multiplayer games, and lots of chances to win Panda Gold from me and the Moderators in Ghosts of Misty Hill and Bunny Chase.

Dress up in purple, green, yellow, and gold for Mardi Gras Color Day on the 21st, then end that week with a super Free Elite Member Day!

The Snows are Melting

The Snows are Melting!

Hey friends!

Well, the Snowmen have marched out of Pandanda and back to their snowy hideaway. And it looks like they've taken a lot of the snow with them!

The snow is starting to melt away, revealing the ground and streets beneath. The Fishing Hole has thawed, and the ice skating rink at Harvest Grove is closed for the season. But it's still pretty chilly around Pandanda, especially with pandas carrying around Zing's new prize. Hope you've got some gloves or mittens - brrrr!!

Can you believe January is almost over? The month went by so fast! February will be here soon, and it's going to be fantastic! It may be the shortest month of the year, but it is going to be PACKED with fun - the Friendship Festival, Game Day, Free Elite Member Day, Valentine's and Mardi Gras Color Days, plus more! More? Yep, more! Keep reading my blog for updates!

Hi Friends!

I hope your 2012 has gotten off to an awesome start. I imagine most of you have started back to school after the long winter break. Work hard in school, do your homework, then come to Pandanda for some relaxation and fun!

I got a message from Zing Ballyhoo today! He said he spent his vacation looking for cool new prizes, and he is excited for you all to see them. He can't wait to set up his gold and blue tent at Treehouse Lobby, and scatter his Golden Tickets all over Pandanda for you to find! Look for him on Monday, January 9th.

There have been some updates to the House & Tree catalog. For you American Football fans out there, you can get ready for the Super Bowl with a cool football-shaped rug, as well as a whole football field and goalposts! There are also some new colors of bean-bag chairs that are great for sitting around and chatting with your friends.

I especially like the East Asian-themed items - a bonsai tree, screens, lamps, and lanterns in a variety of colors and styles. With those items, you could really turn your treehouse into a calm and peaceful place for you and and your friends to hang out. In fact, dogy4 was so inspired by them, that he quickly redecorated his treehouse into a serene -and symmetrical - home! Nice job, dogy4!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I hope the first day of 2012 was a great one for you all! I really had fun visiting on Pandanda today. Hanging out with my friends was an awesome way to start the new year!

Make sure to get your New Year 2012 Party Hat from the catalog at the Clothing Co. on East Market Street. It is what all the stylish pandas are wearing this year!

Have you gotten all of Chilly's prizes for the Winter Festival yet? You still have two days to collect Stocking Stuffers and trade them to Chilly at West Market Street for prizes. Don't wait until the last minute! Chilly will leave Pandanda sometime before midnight Pandanda time on Tuesday, January 3rd.
